Consortis Geospatial is proud to participate in FOSS4G Europe 2026, one of the leading international conferences dedicated to Free and Open Source Software for Geospatial, taking place in Timișoara, Romania. 

The conference brings together the global open geospatial community, fostering innovation, collaboration, and knowledge exchange across GIS, spatial data infrastructures, and geospatial applications.

As part of the conference program, two experts from Consortis Geospatial will present innovative projects and open-source geospatial solutions:

  • “MAPtheYA – A Unified GIS Ecosystem for Smart Water Network Management”, Dimosthenis Paradeisis, Senior Software Engineer, Stathis Petridis, Senior Data Engineer, Andreas Garavelis, Senior GIS Data Engineer.
          
  • “MapFile Preview: A Browser-Based Tool for Editing and Testing MapServer Mapfiles”, Stathis Petridis, Senior Data Engineer, Dimosthenis Paradeisis, Senior Software Engineer, Andreas Garavelis, Senior GIS Data Engineer.
         

The presentations highlight practical GIS applications, smart infrastructure management, and advanced open-source geospatial tools, reflecting Consortis Geospatial’s continuous commitment to technological innovation and the development of scalable, modern geospatial solutions.
